We had a marvelous stay at 9 Scaup Court. We were thrilled to find a place in Hilton Head, as it is the first time our family has vacationed here. Your home is lovely, beautiful, comfortable, clean. We adored the pool and the children spent hours in it. Also the location is fantastic, so near the beach, tennis courts, and South Beach. It was a memorable week in so many ways and we hope to return. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy your special home.

This was our families' second time at Hilton Head. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in your hnome and the location. The home had eveyrthing we needed and we loved the breakfast area. The pool area and pool was very nice also, with plenty of comfortable chairs. Loved the spa w/ waterfall! We truly had a great week w/ beautiful weather & your home only helped to make it more special!

This was our first year at Hilton Head. We had a family reunion of sorts. We feel so blessed to have landed in such a wonderful home. Hearing others list the shortcomings of their homes made us feel all the more fortunatel. There is nothing more we could have wanted. Your kitchen has top-of-the-line cookware! The view is stunning and the decor- breathtaking! We enjoyed the close proximity of the beach. We would definitely come to your home again.

I loved this hours. My family also enjoyed this place very much. My brother and I stayed in the twin room. It was very comfy. My Mom and Dad stayed in the King room. They loved it. Finally, my Nana and PapPap stayed in the queen room. They liked it a lot. Next year, if we come I asked my Dad to try and book this house cause I loved it so, so, so much. We agree with our daughter [below] the home is beautiful and very welcoming. We would pick your home again for sure. We most enjoyed the late afternoon shade on the pool. We floated around reading every day. Your home sets sucha comfortable tone and we took its lead and relaxed the week away. The beach was tons of fun & we rented bikes as well. The kitchen really helped us stay home & still enjoy lovely meals. Our two nights out were to Harbour Town and Shelter Cove; we took in fireworks & fun for the kids both nights. We hope to be back!

Are vacation was great! I loved the pool. My bed was great and so were all the bedrooms. (I slept in the twin room). The kitchen is beautiful! The glass table matches perfectly! We loved the games. We played Monopoly and Checkers. The House is comfortable and relaxing to stay in. Hilton Head has a beautiful beach. The stores are restaurants are great! I loved it her and want to come back again. This was our second year in your lovely home ~ a pleasure. Read that you have a wedding in May - how wonderful - enjoy! Enjoy! It is a perfect setting for a wedding - home & island! We attended many events while here, symphony, Boeing-Boeing at the Arts Center, Hooray for Hollywood, the AKC Dog Show at Honey Horn, organ recitals and more. Highly recommended the Jazz Court! So much to do. Thanks to both of you.

2009

This is our first time vacationing at Hilton Head and are so pleased to have chosen this destination this year! About 6 weeks prior to our arrival I had to undergo major surgery and thought about cancelling our vacation, but then decided against it. And boy am I glad we came!! First of all the resort community is beautiful and the house is extremely comfortable. I'm not able to swim in the ocean yet due to the waves (doctor's orders), so the pool has been my retreat area. From the moment we arrived we've enjoyed everything that the island has to offer. Beautiful tranquil beaches. Deep sea fishing., horseback riding, great dining and best of all the opportunity to spend an amazing and memorable time with each other. However, one week is not enough, so you can be sure we're coming back! Thanks for offering your house.

We are packing up after another great week. We all hate to leave; it has been a really wonderful week. The kids have spent a lot of their time here in the pool. We enjoyed fireworks and dinner at Kingfisher on Tuesday. We spent a day in Savannah while the guys and the kids went kayaking. Although it seemed warmer than usual this week, the guys managed to get golfing a couple of times. The house looks great. We always enjoy being here. We look forward to next year.

Because of a "booking mistake" [by our former rental agent] we lost our reservation for your house last summer. But, we are back, this year, in our favorite home on Hilton Head. We certainly missed the house, the pool, proximity to the beach & Salty Dog. It's been a great week that went by much too fast.

We had a fantastic vacation. Great house and "clean" and very well appointed. The beach is great and very walkable. Sea Pines is a new area for us. We normally stay in Palmetto Dunes in a condo. We will do this again definitely. Two friends joined us for the last week and it was their first time on Hilton Head. What a nice way to show them the beauty of the island. Thank you so much.

We spent a wonderful month in yhour warm and inviting "home." Enjoyed the spa and the user-friendly kitchen. The only item missing was a pastry blender and I aways pack my own. The kitchen and breakfast area are great - so much light and space. Your care and work you've put in yearly were duly noted.

After an 18-hour drive, we arrived in the dark and were greeted by a charming and comfortable home. The following morning along with the sun we met the true beauty of this place - the birds, the trees, all the green -- and then the beach. We had a great stay and are regretting the trip back to winter. We highly recommend the Bistro Mezzaluna for dinner and the Ocean Course over Heron Point for golf. Finally, we are looking forward to our return next winter.

2008

This has been a wonderful vacation for us - 4 "girlfriends" spending the best of times. The house is perfect - comfortable, spacious and attractive - we enjoyed every minute. The location is perfect with just minutes to the beach. The pool area is wonderful. And thanks for the Scrabble game that saved the one rainy day we had! You've taken great care with this beautiful home & it shows. Thanks! P.S. We'll be back. Loved Truffles Restaurant - Food & Service!

This was our first time to have a house at Sea Pines even though we've been coming to Hilton Head for many years. Your home was delightful and perfect for our family. It was wonderful having such a well-equipped kitchen. We loved the pool and spa. Having everything on one level was a God-send for us because we brought our 86 year old "Poppie" this time. He was even able to walk to the beach since it was so close and that made him feel so good about himself! A great vacation for us.

Hard to believe another great vacation has come and gone. This is our 5th year to Hilton Head and we have truly enjoyed staying in your home. Our children really enjoy the pool and are making lasting memories of their vacations at the beach house. My parents are here with us and have truly enjoyed their time to visit with their grandchildren while also having a great vacation. Hardwood floors look great. A nice upgrade to the house. First time to HH and had a great time. Coming back from each day's outing to your lovely home made things even better. We felt wrapped in luxury and right at home all at the same time. Some of our favorite aspects were the shower in the master bedroom and the doggie drapes in the living room with matching chairs (of course!); way cool! This is our 3rd Christmas here and we again had a great time. It is wonderful to have room to spread out. We always enjoy our holidays here and truly appreciate your home.

What a lovely home you have! We enjoyed ourselves very much & hope to return again in the near future. South Beach, Harbortown & the island are beautiful. The homes are gorgeous & landscaping breathtaking. Your home is well equipped and it was obvious how much thought you put into it to make your guests comfortable. We had a fantastic time!

Our family simply loved everything about the house and the entire area.

This is or was my third year to stay in this house. I love it. This was my daddy's first year to come to Hilton Head and he loved it too. The best thing was our "pick up" or "drive through" window. We used it a lot to pass food in and out of the house. The best thing about the house is the monkeys. They are so cute. Thanks. BTW, we added a few rafts for the pool.

Because of a date conflict, we were unable to "book" this house last year for our HH vacation. After two years in this house, what a shock to stay in another home! We "booked" a year in advance just so we wouldn't miss out again this year! You are so blessed to own this lovely home - you've got it all here. This was our 2nd stay in this lovely house. As our family has grown, we had guests from Kentucky, New York, and North Carolina. We had a wonderful week. What a great week ~ this was our fourth visit here. We always love coming to Hilton Head & this beautiful house. We are here with our daughter & her family and have enjoyed spending a quiet relaxing week with them. Seems like we just arrived and now we are packing to go home but look forward to returning next year.... Another week has come and gone. This was our 4th summer here at this house and have enjoyed it as much as our first. We look forward to coming back in '08.

This was our 6th May in Hilton Head and by far the best yet - this house had a lot to do with that. Walking to the beach, grilling by the pool, fishing, crabbing (we donated the trap), biking and hot-tubbing under the stars were some of our favorite activities. Our son and daughter "saved" 24 starfish by carrying them from drying tide pool to the ocean (Animal Rescue!) They even found a shark egg on the beach. We hope to be back next year for Mother's Day and our anniversary again.

2006

I love this house. This is my 2nd year here with my son and family. I have noticed many changes you have made. We had some very cute visitors this time. Mrs. Mander "Sally" (salamander) visited every day by the pool. "Hoot" usually howed up high in tree with many hellos - usually hooting (owl). "Woody" & "Pecker" continually chased each other around the tree (woodpeckers) and lastly - "little one" visited each morning. He never stayed long enough for a picture (hummingbird). Thanks for the many great times and wonderful memories I will cherish from your lovely house!!

W e have been to Hilton Head several times for a family vacation; this was our first week staying in a home. We have stayed in several different villas, but really enjoyed the private pool and spa, and the layout of the home. We are here with 3 of our four teenage children and a friend. We hope to return.

This is our 11th year coming to Sea Pines. This has been the most spectacular house we have occupied during our vacations to Hilton Head. This house has so many perks - great kitchen (well stocked), gas grill, beach chairs, patio furniture, and wireless. There are too many extra amenities to name them all on this page. Our whole family meets at Sea Pines Resort to enjoy a week at the beach. The short walk to the beach and South Beach Marina is great! We enjoyed playing tennis at South Beach. We played it every day. It is wonderful to see owners put so much thought and care in a home that can be enjoyed by so many. We will be back!

We came down to spend Christmas with my mother. Since the family is growing up it was wonderful to have your home to catch the overflow. I don't think it could have been more convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed the master bathroom. Since I just got a new laptop with wireless technology finding your netwrok was a great treat. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your home with our family. We have had a wonderful week here with our 2 daughters & their friends. Our oldest daughter leaves for college next week and the youngest starts back to school also so it has been a great place to "chill." I have been coming to Hilton Head for about 14 years & this has been one of the best places!! We hope to return next year.

This is our second trip to Hilton Head. Our daughter-in-law passed away recently. She wanted her nieces & nephews to see where she had spent part of every summer. Last year 11 of us came in early Aug - this year there were 18 in 2 houses. Your home is beautiful. The kitchen is wonderful. We loved your "take out window" over the sink. We have 8 grandchildren here with ages from 11 to 4. They would eat at the table by the pool & we'd pass the food orders through the window. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

"THIS IS THE LIFE" was our little slogan for the week. Our 2 year old even kept saying it over and over again. Escpecially while he was floating in the wonderful pool. We had another great trip to Hilton Head. This was our fourth year and we love it. This house was so beautiful and so new and clean. We felt as if we were one of the first guests since the remodel. We love the SaltyDog and how close the house was to South Beach = We enjoyed ice cream almost every day at the Salty Dog Ice Cream Shop. We loved riding our bikes everywhere, too. We enjoyed another wonderful week here in Hilton Head. Last June was our first time here and we are so glad we came back. Thank you again for the use of your home. It is perfect for our needs and the kids enjoy the pool. Weather was great all week. A little hot on a couple of days. My parents joined us again from NY and we are already making plans to return next June.

This was our first trip to Hilton Head & after describing what we were looking for, the ********* staff unanimously agreed yours was the right house for us. After staying here for the week, enjoying your lovely and spacious home, proximity to the beach & the Salty Dog Ice Cream Shop - a nightly must for our 5 year old - tennis & the bike path, we couldn't agree more. Your pool is great and we enjoyed grilling and eating on the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here in Hilton Head and felt comfortable in your home. I especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen.

Wonderful week - Great weather! We enjoyed many things about your beautiful home so much. This was our 10th? or 12th? trip to South Beach with various members of our extended family and friends.

We have had a spectacular week here, even though it poured 1 day. The house is beautiful and all the amenities were great. Our 3 boys and some guests from South Beach condos loved the pool/spa. We only ate out (dinner) once since we loved the ability to grill/cook and loved the location. Thanks for all the helpful recommendations of restaurant,shopping, etc. The bike trails are phenomenal and the kids (8, 7, 4) never complained about the distance, due to the scenery - Hilton Head Island is a great place to vacation -

We enjoyed a lovely Christmas holiday in your home. We own two Bluff Villas, so we know how much effort you've put into your home. It was fun for us to stay in another South Beach location with a family group. We loved watching the pelicans and other birds in the logoon and were able to enjoy the hot tub and fireplace.... We wish we could have stayed longer!

We have had a fantastic time in your lovely home. Hilton Head is our favorite vacation spot, we've been coming here for many years and each time is wonderful. Your home and its proximity to the beach, the lagoons, pool, etc. - are just perfect. We had several visits from the local "Deer" friends, Blue Herons and Snowy Egrets. Many pictoral moments from which I will do watercolor paintings. Thanks. We hope to return many times.

Your home is wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay here. We survived Hurricane Jeanne. W especially loved the spa and pool. The decorations in your home are beautiful. We loved the window treatments. Hope to stay here again real soon.

Here from Maine along with daughter and future son-in-law and grandma from New Hampshire. Have enjoyed the week here. The house is beautiful and so completely outfitted - it fit our needs to a tee. We saw dolphins in the lovely warm waters of the beach; we pooled and hot-tubbed to our hearts' content and each enjoyed the privacy and convenience of the layout. The monkey theme is a hit! We managed our vacation between two hurricanes - Frances and Ivan - so we had some rain while we were here, but all enjoyed our stay immensely. We are looking forward to building a new home on an island in Maine, so we noted with interest many of the appointments. We loved watching the blue heron and osprey and the fish jumping in the lagoon.

Thank you for offering your home. It was a very comfortable place to vacation in. We loved your choice of fabrics. The kitchen was well stocked and the gas grill was great. Your location to the beach and South Beach Marina & tennis were wonderful. The pool was "key" and relaxing for all. My husband & I, two children, and the grandparents joined us from Va. We live in Illinois, so it was great to come together in such pleasant surroundings. I reserved the same week next year. We're already looking forward to it.

The house is great and comfortable, but that's enough with the monkeys. We like the puppies a little more. (This is from the kids.) The beds are great. We also love the pool. It was great..... Beautiful home - well-stocked kitchen (for 2 families it was unusually nice!) Great location. We had perfect weather.

This has been a great week. We have enjoyed very minute of our stay! The house is wonderful and had everything we needed. Location is great with South Beach Marina just down the road. It was a wonderful vacation and we all enjoyed ourselves. The house was the nicest we've stayed in and had everything we needed. The kids loved the pool and became great swimmers. We had fun at the beach, playing tennis, and riding bikes. It is so peaceful and relaxing here. Our vacation couldn't have been better!

We've had a fantastic week! We've rented many houses over the years we've come here. Your house is definitely the best equipped! We love your infomation book - great idea! We've had fun fishing, swimming, the beach and bike riding. Our favorite place here is South Beach so this is a great location for us. We have Salty Dog ice cream every night! Your home theater is amazing. This has been a great vacation!

We had a wonderful week. The house is very pleasant and well equipped. The pool is especially top notch. We saw many beautiful birds by the lagoon. It was rainy & overcast for much of this week but it didn't spoil our fun. The July 4th celebration in Harbor Town was a spectacular ending to another great Hilton Head vacation. We will definitely recommend this house to our friends.

Beautiful house, great setting, wonderful pool, and so many thoughtful finishing touches such as beach toys, gas grill, ceiling fans, sand wash off area, and automatic irrigation for potted plants around the pool. We've really enjoyed the week. One of the best supplied houses we have stayed in - chairs, games, notebook full of suggestions, anything you could need in kitchen, etc. Thank you for being so thoughtful of your guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here - great weather and lots of fun!!
